  Report Type - TNT+ OwnCodes

Creating OwnCode Reports with TNT+

If you are an eTelmar TNT+ user, you may find that you already have TNT+ OwnCodes available to you within RSGuru. Use TNT+'s Save Own Code feature to create new OwnCode reports for RSGuru.

Telmar can create these report TNT+ OwnCodes for you. Please call Telmar Client Services to discuss your needs.

Using OwnCodes with RSGuru:

The power of TNT+ OwnCodes is the ability to use combined question/answers for more in-depth and specific analysis. TNT+ OwnCodes give you access to special report definitions created by either you, one of your co-workers, or by Telmar.
  • My Reports
  • My Company Reoprts
  • My Corporate Reports
  • Telmar Reports
For example:
On the Search Page you might select Snacks - Heavy Users. On the Report page with TNT+ OwnCodes you can run a report with rows like these:
  • Men Age 45-64
  • Men Age 45-64 - Dieting last 30 days
  • Women Age 45-64
  • Women Age 45-64 - Dieting last 30 days
New! Starting with Version 4.5 of The ReSearch Guru, when you save OwnCodes in TNT+, two types of OwnCode files are automaticallycreated:
  • PRX - The PRX format simply means that TNT+ will save coding from Tables, Columns and Rows combined into a single list.
  • PRY - The PRY format simply means that TNT+ will preserve the original layout of the coding. Keeping Tables as Tables, Columns as Columns, and Rows as Rows.
Sounds complicated, but it is not - really. You will not have to choose PRX or PRY. You will automatically have access to both types.

  • Choose Multi-Column to view the Multi-Column Report Format

  • Choose Columns or Rows to view one of these in the standard RSGuru Report
